Snow Reporter Comments: Resort Update: High Flyer Park is OPEN and still pumping. This weekend is still looking on! Make the most of the final 2 weekends left. Spring Lift operating hours Friday|Saturday|Sunday 10am - 4pm until October 27th. The High Noon Express for advanced skiing and riding with Movenpick for access. With two weekends remaining, we have transitioned to a three-day operating schedule, open from 10 AM to 4 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, weather permitting. While the snow conditions have posed challenges, your support has made Tūroa an exceptional place to be this winter, so thank you.

Turoa Ski Area is situated on the south-western slopes of Mt. Ruapehu located on New Zealand’s North Island. Mt. Ruapehu is an active volcano and is the highest point on the North Island. Turoa is known for having the largest vertical drop in New Zealand with a high elevation and consistent dry snow. Turoa treats visitors to spectacular views from high atop Mt. Ruapehu and offers terrain for all ability types. Turoa is operated by Ruapehu Alpine Lifts and a lift ticket also grants visitors access to Whakapapa Ski Area.
